What Is Eid Al-Adha:
Let's Discuss the most pleasant Festival of Islam, The event Of
Sacrifice, Muslims Sacrifice their animals in the way of Allah,
Eid Al-Adha is celebrated at the time of Hajj, the Islamic community
pilgrimage to perform the Hajj In Holy Makkah for every Year before one
day of this Eid, Eid Al-Adha is Remembered as-Sunnah or Sacrifice of
Prophet Ibrahim (A.S) was the adorable Prophet of God.
Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) was always prepared for Sacrifice whenever Allah order him to sacrifice. He sacrificed everything, including his wealth, his beloved Son Hazrat Ismail (A.S), and whatever he has.
God mentioned about the Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S)
in his holy book (Holy Quran) , Translation (Surely Prophet Ibrahim (A.S) was an example, obedient to Allah, by nature upright, and he was not of the polytheists. He was grateful for Our bounties. We chose him and guided him on the right path. We gave him Special in this world and in the next, he will most surely be among the righteous ) Quran 16:120-121.
The celebration of Eid Al-Adha is based on three days, Which occurs on the 10th day of Zul-Hajj in Islamic month. This joyful festival is celebrated all over the globe.
What do you mean by Sunnat-e-Ibrahimi:
Sunnah of Ibrahim (A.S) is the foundation of
Eid Al-Adha, one night Prophet Ibrahim (A.S) saw a dream in which he sacrificed his
beloved son Hazrat Ismail (A.S) when he was awakened and
Apostle of God feels this was a trap of the Devil and Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S)
disregarded it. The 2nd-night, he watched the same dream Occurred again.
Prophet Ibrahim (A.S) Feels that was not a trick of the Devil. There was a real message from God. Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) loved his son a lot. He took
Hazrat Ismail (A.S) with himself for the fulfillment of Allah's (SWT) order.
When they both reached Mount Arafat (the place where Hazrat Ibrahim is
about to sacrifice his beloved son) he brought with him a knife
and rope, He told his son about the dream and What God had commanded him to do
this. Prophet Ismail (A.S) was the obedient son of Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S). He
agreed with his father and said that his hands and legs be tied so that he may
not struggle and Prophet Ibrahim (A.S) blindfolded, and then he put the knife
attack to his son,s throat.
He did as Allah had commanded him when Messanger of God took the blindfold off
too, he was in full shocked, and he saw the body of a dead ram (male-sheep) in
front of him, and God Saved Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) son's life.
Ismail (A.S) was fully un-harmed standing right next to his Ibrahim (A.S)
Allah loves this act of Prophet Ibrahim(A.S), God converts this act of
Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) onto (Sunnat-e-Ibrahimi) even Our
beloved Holy Prophet Muhammad PBUH himself performed the Sunnah of Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S).
All Muslims prepare themselves for performing the prayers of
Eid, the Muslim community following the Sunnah of Prophet Ibrahim (A.S), and
Slaughter animals like camels, sheep, goats, cows, etc.
Muslims remembered the Sacrifice of Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) and God has
given Muslims to the power over animals and allowed them to eat there
Meal. During the time of Sacrifice, the meat of the slaughtered animals is mostly given to needy peoples.
According to Sunnah of our Holy Prophet Muhammad PBUH one-third
of the meat is divided into family And relatives, one-third is given away
to friends, and some part of the meat ha to distribute among to the
Poor.
